Financial Support

Thanks to the funding received from NSF, we will be able to support a limited number of people with partial financial support to attend the GameSec 2014 Conference. We will be able to support up to 10 people, with a maximum financial support per person up to $800, although the typical award will be smaller. Preference will be given to young researchers and PhD students that are authors of papers accepted to GameSec 2014. PhD students who are not authors of GameSec 2014 papers can also apply.

Application Deadline: October 12, 2014 October 3, 2014 (Friday, 23:59 EST).
Decision Announcement: October 14, 2014 October 7, 2014 (Tuesday).

Please submit the following materials for your application:

  • Application Form. Fill out this PDF application form to Prof. Quanyan Zhu ([email protected]).
  • Recommendation Letter. Please submit also a brief support letter for your application by your advisor (if you are a PhD student), or by your supervisor or senior colleague (if you are a young researcher). The letter should briefly explain the benefit to you from attending GameSec 2014 and should ascertain the need for partial support for attending GemeSec 2014. The recommender should email the support letter directly to Prof. Quanyan Zhu ([email protected]). The support letter should clearly state the name and position of the recommender and her/his relation with you.

PLEASE NOTE: Financial assistance can be used only for the following: travel expenses (air, train, other ground), hotel accommodation and registration fee (in this order of preference). Funds will be sent after the conference to the awardees based on actual receipts.
