GameSec 2013, the fourth Conference on Decision and Game Theory for Security will take place in Fort Worth, TX, USA on November 11-12, 2013. The conference hotel is the Omni Fort Worth, which is located at 1300 Houston Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, U.S.A. We have an event rate of $189/night, (free wireless Internet included). The hotel is generously making the conference rate available until the hotel is filled up. Note that, there are no low-cost options in easy walking distance. There is a Holiday Inn Express to the west, a 15 minute walk.

Transportation

GameSec 2013 will be self-contained, with the conference at the hotel, and Molly the Trolley (http://www.mollythetrolley.com/) providing free transportation around downtown Fort Worth (which is also quite walkable).

A rental car is not necessary, unless you stay outside of downtown Fort Worth.

To/From DFW Airport

We suggest that you take a shuttle from DFW airport to downtown ($17 + ~$1 fuel surcharge):

A taxi may cost about $60 (there should be a flat rate listed in the window, but not including tips or surcharges).

There is a train (the TRE), but it is not available on Sundays!

If you are flying into Dallas Love Field (DAL):

  • The Super Shuttle rate is $36 + $1 fuel surcharge.
  • GO Yellow Checker Shuttle is $45.

A taxi will cost about $80 (meter rate).
